About the Project

Warner York is a New York City based interior design house & art broker. With their well established repertoire and growing clientele, they approached me to rethink and develop their brand to suit their business, growing into the digital-first era.

My Role

For the rebrand and web design process, it was my responsibility to become closely familiar with Warner York's brand personality, direct and execute the rebrand and design a refreshed website.

In the past 3 decades of Tim and Stuart's practice as interior designers and art brokers, their business served as a true reflection of their individual personalities.

While their brand's visual manifestation has changed over the years, their personalities and business ideologies have remained largely the same. This called for a re-evaluation of what the brand means to the business and shifting the focus to a more practical approach to translating their personalities into their brand's personality.

Throughout the entire existence of Warner York, Tim and Stuart have separated themselves as interior designers who let their clients' personalities shine through their spaces.

Rather than designing spaces for the clients to evolve to, the space mirrors the clients and evolves with them. The rebrand takes a similar approach in the sense that it tells the stories of their clients, which is also their own.

After the hit of the global pandemic, Warner York had to adjust and shift their operations to be partially digital. This meant that their web presence and ability to digitally showcase their brand was more important than ever.

With Warner York's previous website being formed by a template website service, their web presence lacked their personalities that made their brand their own.

This was a clear focal point of the transition to a fully custom website that is purposefully designed with their unique angle in mind at every touchpoint.
